About & Contact

Hello and thanks for coming to visit my blog. I thought it would be helpful to tell you a little bit about myself so you can feel more familiar with me as you read my blog posts.

First, I’ll start off by telling you some facts about me. I have been an executive coach for about 12 years now. I love my work and my clients and enjoy a path of constant learning, development and inner exploration. If you want to know more about my professional training, you can go to www.designstogrow.com but for this blog, I’d like to give you a more personal view of who I am.

I am mother to two amazing sons who are currently 18 and 21. My sons are my inspiration and motivation for the parent/educator portion of this blog. Because of some of the school and parenting experiences I have had, along with the experience I have had of being an executive coach, I have been given a unique perspective that I would like to share through this blog. It is my opinion that HUGE changes need to be made in how we “educate” our children and most importantly in who we see our children to be. And not just who we see our children to be, but WHO we see each other to be…and if we saw each other in the true light of who we are, how we would then educate, parent, manage and be in relationship to each other?

I am married to the same man for 23 years and I’m still really, really happy!

I enjoy yoga, hiking, horseback riding, exercising, meditating, spending time with family and friends, beaches, mountains, walking with my dog Valentino and my work. I am very involved with Plant a Seed Inspire a Dream Foundation which is an organization that helps financially challenged children pursue their dreams, passions and interests. I find myself involved with more and more groups that serve the best interests of children. One more thing I enjoy is my time with my little sister that I was matched with through Big Brothers Big Sisters. It’s been 1-1/2 years now and it’s one of the best things I have ever done.

I journal and meditate every day and have for 20 years. I am what I would define as inner driven. I am more driven to remember the truth of who I am beyond this physical realm (and who we all are) than I am by money, fame, recognition, conformity or acceptance. My life has gotten better and better in every dimension as I access more and more of the real me. And the outcomes of this have been fruitful.

I want to tell you about my philosophy so you know where I come from with this blog. I’m not saying it’s the only philosophy or even that it’s right; it’s simply where I am.

I firmly believe that all that we experience in the physical realm is a direct reflection of our level of consciousness.

Where we see limits inwardly, those limits will be reflected outwardly.

Where we see limitlessness inwardly, that limitlessness will be reflected outwardly.

Because we can only experience outwardly at the level of awareness we are inwardly; I believe it is important for parents, teachers, executives, managers…everyone to make self-awareness practices a top priority. When we see ourselves as limited in any way, we perceive everyone else and life in limited ways, as well.

Because we are often unaware that we are seeing life through limited eyes, this can cause great misconceptions in how we treat others, how we parent our children, how we educate and in how we operate as a leader at work.

This is why I believe it is crucial to make reflection an important part of one’s daily routine. We can read, attend seminars and do any number of things to educate our selves about what is possible in our lives. Reading books and attending seminars are helpful ways to get our minds thinking in new directions; however, going within and discovering for yourself what is within you, who you really are and what you are capable of is the only way to have direct experience of the truth that lies within you. All the rest is simply someone else’s experience of their truth that can guide you but not cause you to have the actual knowing within your being of your innate gifts, power and limitlessness.

I have learned much through exploring my inner world. The main messages I would share with you as a result of this are….

  • Self- awareness and deep listening are two of greatest skills we can master for the benefit of each other and ourselves.
  • Instead of chasing money, a dream, a job or a client, all you have to do is expand your consciousness until the qualities that produce these desired outcomes become a part of you. Then when you act from this new place; new results naturally come.
  • Pay attention to your emotions. Use them as valuable information. Emotions are your spirit’s way of communicating to you as to how aligned you are to your true self.
  • Share your gifts, talents, passions and love with as many people as you can. Don’t hold back for any reason. Give whether people can pay or not. Give whether it’s appreciated or not. Do this to satisfy your own soul, which sees itself as limitless and forever filled with something to give and express.
  • Never stop going within because eventually you will reach this place that is beyond description. It is the place of the eternal, limitless, perfectly healthy and vibrant self that is the real you. And the more you go to this place, the more real it becomes and the more a part of you it becomes. Fear starts to disappear from your life. You begin to act from a new place of knowing the truth of who you are. This changes everything! You have been given everything and this is what you will find as you embark upon this inner journey. You cannot find this in a book…you can only find it within you.

This is the understanding I have as of this moment in my journey and why I believe growing in the awareness of who we really are inherently is so important. We are limitless beings, capable of anything!

There is so much I want to tell you about what I have learned and discovered. I hope through this blog, I will get to do this. I am dedicated to increasing my awareness. The changes that have occurred in my life as a result of this so far have been extraordinary for me. I know they will be for you too.
